2016 Rose Nolan Scholarship winner Teri Jack is a member of Attawapiskat First Nation in Ontario. She will be entering her final year at Nipissing University in the Bachelor of Business Administration program.
Teri primarily grew up in British Columbia and started her post-secondary education at Thompson River University when she decided to move back home with her father so that they could be closer to her family. She currently is an Aboriginal mentor for high school students and once a week goes to the community center to mentor students; Teri helps students with a variety of activities that include cooking, beading and cultural teachings.
In December 2015, she attended the Young Entrepreneur Symposium in Vancouver and was motivated by all the inspirational speakers-an event that she feels changed her life.
