2015 Rose Nolan Scholarship winner is Kendra Tabobondung-Pawis who is a member of Shawanaga First Nation in Ontario. She will be entering her 2nd year in the Advanced Child and Youth Worker Diploma program at Cambrian College.
Kendra became a mother at the age of 15 and faced many challenges, however, she emerged as a recognized leader and supporter with her peers. Presently, she has two small children and very grateful for her family and friends as they have been a great support to her. Her biggest dream is to create an organization that supports teen parents.
