2016 Rose Nolan Scholarship winner Jasmine Murchison-Perley is a member of Tobique First Nation, New Brunswick. She will be entering her third year in the Bachelor of Nursing program at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB.
Jasmine faced many challenges in pursuing her education but persevered and has been graciously awarded a few scholarships/bursaries: INDSPIRE Award, Canadian Nurses Foundation Scholarship and Dr. Snodgrass Bursary Fund for New Brunswick Students.
She is dedicated to Aboriginal mental health and is devoted to learning more and focusing on at-risk Aboriginal youth.
Jasmine is a volunteer with the Fredericton Homeless Shelters on a weekly basis helping with a variety of events, organization of donations and simply building rapport with the clients.
