Meet Cassandra Manitowabi-Trudeau – 2012 Winner

Cassandra Manitowabi-Trudeau 2012 Rose Nolan Scholarship Winner is a member of Wikwemikong First Nation in Ontario.

She recently graduated with honors from Cambrian College’s FLBU program and will be entering the Health Promotion program at Laurentian University in September.

Cassandra strives to be both a successful student and a dedicated athlete and is a member of the women’s cross-country running team along with being on the president’s list a number of times. She has trained to race both at the provincial and national level for two consecutive seasons.

Cassandra has volunteered for diff erent organizations including the Special Olympics Hockey Tournament at Cambrian College, Camp Quality in Monetville for children with cancer and as a Physical Educator with the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Education.
