She attended New Brunswick Community College in Miramichi and graduated this past June from the Youth Care Worker program with Honours and also was the Valedictorian for her graduating class.

She will be attending Saint Thomas University this fall to attain her undergraduate degree. For fourteen years, synchronized swimming was a huge part of her life and also had the honor of being selected as an apprentice coach for Team New Brunswick at the 2011 Canada Winter Games through the Aboriginal Sports Circle.

Alicia was very fortunate to have her grandparents live next door while growing up and they played a very important role in her upbringing.
