On behalf of all the youth who attended the leadership camp this past weekend the Ted Nolan Foundation would like to express their sincere appreciation for the leadership opportunity provided by the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. Since the partnership was formed in January 2009 one hundred and fifty students have been selected to attend Tim Horton Children’s Foundation camps in Tatamagouche, NS and Onondaga Farms, Ontario.

The Ted Nolan Foundation would also like to thank John Malcolmson and his staff for all their great work hosting our youth. Also, a big thank you goes out to Paul House, Nick Javour and Dave Newnham for their leadership, guidance and continued support.

Recently, when the second annual leadership camp came to a close many new friendships among the students were formed. One of the major highlights was seeing our returning students demonstrating confidence and poise- trailblazers for the new students.

The Ted Nolan Foundation in partnership with the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation recently held their 2nd annual leadership camp in Onondaga Farms on Oct. 20th thru Oct. 24th. Ninety-eight students with thirty two students returning from the Algoma District School Board and Huron Superior Catholic District School Board got to experience again a first class camp.

It was a busy four days with lots of different activities and a wonderful opportunity for the students to meet new friends. On Friday evening the camp held a banquet and at this time each student received a goodie bag from Shoppers Drug Mart and we would like to thank St. Catharines store owner, David Costiniuk for his kind gift. A special thank you goes out to Sharon McCrone, Sandy Lattimer and Kim Melinko for making this happen.

On behalf of our youth, Thank You!
