The Ted Nolan Foundation in partnership with the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation would like to thank all our teachers for their continuous support in helping us make a difference in our youth.

Thank you Mona Jones and Carol Trudeau McEwen for all your dedication and giving our students that consistent presence they look forward to. Also, to our new additional teachers, Stan Nolan and Chris Folz for helping us make our team stronger.

Thank you Mackenzie and Alicia Sayers for your great instruction on our cultural component along with helping the students make dreamcatchers. More importantly, congratulations Mackenzie on becoming a new mom!

The Ted Nolan Foundation in partnership with the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation is pleased to report that the 2nd leadership camp was a big success and we want to thank both school boards for their vital roles in helping us with our camp. Any successful venture starts with people who are passionate and caring and we would like to thank you for your dedication and commitment to helping us make a difference in our youth.

A special thank you goes to out to Kime Collver and Maria Esposito for their great leadership. Also, to the many principals and teachers in helping with the selection of the students and who took great pride and personal interest in the camp. Chi-Miigwetch!

The Ted Nolan Foundation would like to thank Dorothy Cousins, Alison Jamieson and their staff in Tatamagouche for all the great work in hosting the students from School District 18.

With their successful program already in place the students got to experience a first class camp that went on for four days and returned home with wonderful memories. You did an outstanding job and the Ted Nolan Foundation will be forever grateful!

Thank you Ken for taking time out of your work schedule to be with the students in Tatamagouche and sharing your knowledge and history to our students.

Recently, the Ted Nolan Foundation in partnership with Tim Horton Children’s Foundation held their 1st leadership camp in Atlantic Canada at Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. A special thank you goes out to Barb Brown, Coordinator/First Nations Education for School District 18 for the many hours of extra work to make the camp a success. Also, thank you to School District 18 principals and teachers for your support and help with the selection of students.
