President, Ted Nolan would like to thank CN for their generous donation as he recently attended their 7th annual event that Employee’s and Pensioner’s Community Fund has held and helped benefit charitable organizations.

Ted was thrilled to help coach the employees of CN against former players of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team.

Through your contributions you have made a huge impact on our foundation and from the bottom of our hearts we all thank you!

MONTREAL, Nov. 17, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ – CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE: CNI) announced today that the seventh CN Hockey Greatest Stars Challenge will be held on Nov. 19, at the Saint-Michel Arena, in Montreal.

A team of CN employees will face off against former Montreal Canadiens players. All proceeds from this friendly match will be donated to charitable organizations supported by the CN Employees’ and Pensioners’ Community Fund, notably the Marie-Vincent Foundation and the Ted Nolan Foundation. The Ted Nolan Foundation is pleased to announce the Rose Nolan Scholarship winners for 2011.

With the generous support of our sponsors The Ted Nolan Foundation was able to award ten scholarships that help to enhance and assist First Nation women in their educational and training aspirations.

A big thank you goes out to Mr. Joe Tice and the selection committee for all their hard work and also, to the 175 applicants who applied this year.

The Ted Nolan Foundation would like to congratulate the 2011 Rose Nolan Scholarship award winners and wish them much success on continuing their studies this year.
