The Ted Nolan Foundation would like to thank everyone at the camp in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia for their great hospitality.

It was the second year for District 18 students and first year for forty-four students from District 16 School Board in Miramichi, New Brunswick.

Thank you Alison Jamieson, camp administrator and Ryan Underhill, program manager for a terrific job and giving our youth a wonderful experience.

Also, the camp leaders, cooks and bus drivers for great activities, wonderful food and a safe arrival back home.

The Ted Nolan Foundation will be holding a parent meeting for the new selected area from Rainbow District School Board and Wikwemikong Board of Education on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011.

The meeting will be held at the Espanola Library, 175 Avery Drive in Espanola, Ontario and will begin at 1:45 pm.

Mr. John Malcolmson from Tim Horton Children’s Foundation Onondaga Farms camp will be on hand along with Ted Nolan.

We look forward to meeting the parents and students!

The Ted Nolan Foundation would like to thank Angee Acquin and Judie Acquin-Miksovsky from St. Mary’s First Nation for participating again in our 2nd leadership camp this past weekend.

Also, thank you to our new additions Edward Perley, Tobique First Nation and Gitpu Nevins, Elsipogtog First Nation for their support and help with the cultural teachings.

Thank you all for helping us make a difference and you certainly were well appreciated by Tim Horton’s camp staff.

The Ted Nolan Foundation in partnership with Tim Horton Children’s Foundation recently held their 2nd leadership camp in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.

This year, forty new students were selected from District 16 School Board and the foundation would like to thank Superintendent Laurie Keoughan for his support along with the teachers and principals.

A special thank you goes out to Katie Joseph from Bonar Law Memorial for her great dedication and commitment.

Also, we like to thank again District 18 Superintendent Dianne Wilkins and Barb Brown for their continued support for the past two years.

Without the school boards support, Barb and Katie’s hard work our camp success would not be possible.

From all of us at the foundation we thank you!

The Ted Nolan Foundation and their partner Tim Horton Children’s Foundation are excited to welcome District 16 students to their 2nd aboriginal leadership camp. They will be joining students from District 18 for four nights at the beautiful camp in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia from Sept. 21st thru Sept. 25th. Ted and Sandra Nolan will be in Elsipogtog First Nation to welcome our new students.

Bus Departs 1:45 pm Sharp

Please have your children arrive at least 45 minutes before departure as they will need to check in with the camp leaders.

Arrival, Sept. 25, 2011

Bus will depart Tatamagouche, NS after breakfast and is scheduled to leave at 9:30 am and should arrive at 1 pm. (the bus will not leave till everyone is picked up but please give 3o min either way)

1st Stop

Bus will depart at noon sharp on Wed. Sept. 21st

Please have your child their at least twenty minutes before departure and then bus will travel to 2nd Stop.

2nd Stop

Elsipogtog First Nation
Church Parking Lot
373 Big Cove Road, Elsipogtog First Nation, NB

The bus will depart 1:45 pm sharp so please have your child their at least 45 min before departure.

The bus will be leaving Tatmagouche, NS after breakfast at 9:30 am and will stop in Elsipogtog First Nation first and expected time of arrival is between 12:30 – 1:00 and then will continue to our final stop at Tim Hortons in Miramichi.
