Rose Nolan Scholarship winners for 2011 will be announced on Thursday, August 4 and all winners will be personally notified by Ted. The Ted Nolan Foundation is pleased to announce that ten scholarships will be given out this year.

It was a good day for education yesterday as the Ted Nolan Foundation raised more money at its second annual luncheon in support of First Nations women seeking post-secondary schooling.

The event, held at the Delta Beauséjour Hotel in downtown Moncton, coincided with the annual general meeting of the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) being held in Moncton until today. A number of assembly members were in attendance, listening to a variety of speakers that included former AFN national chief Phil Fontaine.
