The Ted Nolan Foundation established the Rose Nolan Memorial Scholarship in honor of Ted’s mom, Rose. The award recognizes Aboriginal women who are achieving their educational goals and this year seven women have been selected.

A big thank you goes out to Mr. Joe Tice and the selection committee for all their work.

The Ted Nolan Foundation would like to congratulate the 2010 Rose Nolan Scholarship award winners and wish them much success on continuing their studies this year.

Janine Manning – Chippewas of Nawash First Nation, Ontario
Emma Wilkin – Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve First Nation, Ontario
Alicia Sayers – Garden River First Nation, Ontario
Abby Morning Bull – Piikani Nation, Alberta
Heather Jones – Saugeen First Nation, Ontario
Melissa Phillips – Oneida Nation of the Thames, Ontario

Over the next seven days each of the award winners will be featured with their Bio and Picture.
